For the Nineteenth Year, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is privileged to have been selected by the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish & Parks Commission to receive the "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" Elk Hunt for the Custer State Park.
Revenue generated from this raffle goes directly into South Dakota conserving, restoring, and enhancing natural habitats; promoting the sound management of wild, free ranging elk, which may be hunted or otherwise enjoyed; fostering cooperation among federal, state, and private organizations and individuals in wildlife management and habitat conservation; and educating members and the public about habitat conservation, the value of hunting, hunting ethics, and wildlife management. Your participation helps ensure the future of Elk, other wildlife, and their habitat, supporting the mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
To-date the Custer State Park Elk Hunt Raffle has raised more than $400,000.00.

This can only be accomplished with your help, won't you help?
You do not have to be present to win anyone can purchase tickets for the drawing. However, only South Dakota residents can win the first prize Custer State Park Elk Hunt for the 2009 hunting season. The winner must be able to possess a valid SD hunting license. Anyone, regardless of residency, can win the second through fifth prizes, all of which are fine firearms. Anyone under the age of 21 who wins a firearm must have the gun accepted by a parent or guardian. The drawing is void where prohibited by law.
Drawing will be held at SD GF&P Commission May Meeting in Custer State Park. Successful winners will be notified and arrangements made at that time to receive their prize.
